Plan B
Due to covid and the UK being in lockdown, filming and production can’t go exactly to plan, so this is plan b. Which is to use what I have to make my final piece. To film I am going to use my phone and one of my other family member’s phones, if we were not in lockdown then I would have been able to take out 2 cameras from Springboard and a zoom mic too to record the audio. I would have also been able to have a properly experienced crew from the course to help me get better shots instead one of my family members will have to help me film. I was thinking about filming in my kitchen anyway and having my mum do the cooking too so that will obviously stay the same.

| Here is my document for my positioning of where the audio, camera, and subject will be for my shoot. I need a shot of the whole of my mum doing each step and explaining it and then I also need a close-up of each step so what is being done can be clearly seen. |
Editing
I plan to edit together each shot and flow from each shot to the next to have my mum clearly explain what she is doing then have the close-up of each step. I am also going to create a logo/title graphic for the show and open it with the title card then fade it into the show.
Setting
the setting of the show would be in the kitchen as it is a cooking show, we just had our kitchen renovated so I thought it would look good to film it in my kitchen and would add to the tutorial being a homemade independent cooking, cooking show.
Equipment
Obviously, due to covid, I can't use what I would have usually used to film and make this, which would have been two cameras from Springboard and a zoom mic to record good audio. As I can't use them I will have to use my phone and one of my family member's phones to film and record the audio. One of them will also have to help me but it won't be the absolute best as they are not experienced like someone on this course is. My younger sister did say she might possibly do this course when she gets to college so it would be a good experience for her.
You said you wanted some help with the proposal. The easiest way to do this is to structure it into sections.
ReplyDeleteThe first part is the Rationale where you just write up about how previous projects influenced your idea and just a brief explanation of what you are planning to do (that's what I did for mine anyway).
The second part is the Project Concept where you write up what your idea is in detail.
The third part is Evaluation where you put how you are going to evaluate your work.
Another part that you need to add is your Plan A and Plan B for filming- Plan A is for if we're able to go back on campus and Plan B is for if we can't go back yet and have to film at home, write about how you will film this if this is the case.
